Key Responsibilities
- Develop and close new businesses within the produce and perishable freight sector
- Manage and grow a book of business focused on temperature-controlled domestic shipments
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure on-time and seamless execution of freight services
- Deliver consultative solutions tailored to each customer's unique supply chain and logistical needs
- Monitor market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitive activity to stay ahead of the curve
- Consistently hit or exceed revenue and margin targets
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in freight sales, ideally with a focus on produce or refrigerated freight
- Existing industry relationships or a book of business is a major plus
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with a strong "hunter’s mentality"
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to build lasting client relationships
