This is a client-facing, consulting role — not a desk-only operations position.

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture
- 8+ years in engineering consulting, design, construction, or forensics
- Direct experience in restoration & repair engineering, forensic engineering, and/or building enclosure
- Client-facing consulting experience (this is not a back-office role)
- Experience leading teams and overseeing technical deliverables
- Ability to read, review, and interpret drawings and reports
Preferred
- PE or AIA license
This Role Is NOT For
- Mechanical, electrical, chemical, geotechnical, or trades-based engineers
- Construction-only project managers or general contractors
- Operations executives without technical engineering credentials
- Policy, government affairs, or non-technical leadership backgrounds
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor engineers, consultants, and project managers
- Act as PM on select complex projects while maintaining utilization expectations
- Oversee project delivery, schedules, quality, and consistency of work product
- Partner with business development on proposals and technical input
- Own department-level metrics: utilization, backlog, revenue, and margins
- Maintain high-touch client relationships on complex consulting engagements
- Contribute to strategic planning, staffing, and annual goals
