- Renewable Energy Integration - Design utility interconnections for solar, battery storage, and microgrids
- Electrification Projects - Support electrical designs replacing fossil fuel systems with clean electric alternatives
- Power System Analysis - Conduct studies evaluating new and existing electrical equipment performance
- Protection & Control - Assist with control scheme design, relay programming, and commissioning support
- You'll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle—from initial concept through final testing—while building expertise in modern power systems and sustainable energy technologies.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree (graduating by June 2026)
- Strong academic foundation in power systems, circuits, and electrical theory
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and U.S. work authorization
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- Coursework or projects in power systems, renewable energy, or energy storage
- Internship experience in electrical engineering
- Location: Connecticut office
- Start Date: June 2025 (flexible for graduation schedules)
- Travel: Regional site visits approximately 1 day per week; minimal overnight stays
- Compensation: $67,000-$77,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package
