Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician (OB/GYN) Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Occasional weekends required | On-call rotation: approximately 5–6 days per month
About the Opportunity Gervino Group is partnering with a respected healthcare organization to identify a dedicated and compassionate OB/GYN Physician. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to women across all stages of life, from routine gynecological services to pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive healthcare services to female patients
Monitor patients throughout prenatal, natal, and postnatal stages
Diagnose conditions, order and interpret tests, and prescribe treatments
Perform deliveries while ensuring the safety of both mother and infant
Manage acute and chronic conditions related to women’s health
Deliver both outpatient and in-hospital care
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Collaborate with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary care team
Refer patients to specialists as appropriate
Participate in clinic policy development and quality improvement initiatives
Support and collaborate with nursing staff and clinical teams
Participate in daily team huddles and staff meetings
Serve as a preceptor for medical students and NP/PA students
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and organizational regulations
Rotate between clinic locations as needed
Education & Experience
Doctor of Medicine (MD) required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Licensure & Certifications
Active Medical Doctor (MD) license in California
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
DEA and Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certifications
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Additional Requirements
Prior supervisory experience or willingness to take on leadership responsibilities
Strong commitment to patient-centered care and community health
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
