Key Responsibilities
- Field Operations Leadership: Oversee all field service activities, ensuring installations, maintenance, and repairs are executed with excellence and efficiency.
- Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and support field technicians to ensure consistent performance, skill development, and adherence to company standards.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Work closely with office staff to align schedules, assign jobs, and maximize efficiency of service call routing.
- Technical Oversight: Provide advanced troubleshooting guidance and act as a subject matter expert for complex HVAC issues.
- Quality Control: Monitor fieldwork to ensure compliance with company protocols, safety standards, and client expectations.
- Customer Experience: Maintain and strengthen client relationships by addressing escalated issues with professionalism and urgency.
- Process & Performance Improvement: Partner with management to refine service processes, identify training needs, and implement strategies that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting & Documentation: Review and manage service-related paperwork, reports, and performance metrics to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of proven experience in HVAC service, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable.
- In-depth technical expertise with residential HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of balancing field and administrative responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Experience with scheduling, dispatching, or coordinating service operations.
- Valid HVAC certification and a clean driving record required.
