We’re seeking a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer who thrives in full product lifecycle development—from initial concept to high-volume manufacturing. This role is ideal for someone who brings deep technical expertise and a desire to contribute meaningfully to next-generation medical device innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Own the design and development of schematic and PCB layouts, including flex and rigid-flex circuits
- Develop and test high-speed, multi-layer digital boards using Altium Designer
- Design switching power supply circuits and optimize power architectures for efficiency, reliability, and safety
- Integrate and troubleshoot wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) and ARM-based MCUs/MPUs
- Lead medical device design, ensuring adherence to IEC 60601 standards for safety and emissions
- Build and validate PCB test fixtures, and support functional testing
- Drive design for manufacturing (DFM) and scale products in partnership with contract manufacturers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, quality, and regulatory teams
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 7+ years of relevant experience (medical device experience highly preferred)
- Schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium)
- High-speed digital design and signal integrity
- Embedded systems using ARM processors
- Wireless circuit design (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi)
- Switching power supply design
- Experience with IEC 60601 or other safety/emissions testing standards
- Familiarity with design of test fixtures for hardware validation
- Proven ability to scale hardware from prototype to production, ideally within a regulated industry
