Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join their diagnostic imaging team in the beautiful Berkshire region. This role offers the opportunity to perform a wide scope of technical imaging procedures while applying independent judgment and creative problem-solving to assist in diagnostic processes. The position may include supervisory or instructional responsibilities under the guidance of the Lead Technologist or Operations Manager.
Monday through Friday
8am - 5pm with rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform a broad variety of radiologic imaging procedures independently and proficiently
- Utilize PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems; troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS applications
- Practice strict infection control and body substance isolation protocols in clinical settings
- Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all departmental and hospital policies
- May assume supervisory or instructional duties as assigned
- Attend and complete mandatory education (including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, body substance isolation)
- Maintain departmental competencies and adhere to hospital/department policies, including OSHA standards
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Program approved by the AMA
- Valid Massachusetts Radiologic License (MALIC)
- ARRT(R) - Registered Technologist in Radiography (RTR)
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to function independently and efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
- Commitment to attending all mandated training and education sessions
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting digital radiography systems (CR/DR) and PACS/HIS/RIS workflows
- Strong patient care and communication skills with ability to manage a fast-paced imaging environment
- Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
